RURAL DEVELOPMENT GRANT PROJECTS

In order to provide grant to the development  investments of farmers in rural areas through companies, cooperatives and similar institutions, “Rural Development Investments Support Program” (RDISP) had been initiated within the scope of the Institutional Reinforcement of Farmers’ Organization (IRFO) Project of the Turkish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock.
THE GOAL S AND GROUNDS OF THE PROGRAM

The goals are to
Improve income and social standards,
Develop the infrastructure,
Ensure Agriculture-Industry integration,
Strengthen food safety,
Increase the marketing life of agricultural products,
Create alternative income sources,
Enhance the effectiveness of current development efforts,
Build infrastructures that will add value,
Create an entrepreneurship capacity,
Create capacity for the use of international resources (particularly EU) in rural areas.
